Congratulations to Anna and Steve who were married on Saturday 8th August at Donington Manor Hotel in Derbyshire. After weeks of rain, the sun shone brilliantly all day and allowed us to take their wedding photography in the private garden outside their honeymoon suite.
Anna and her bridesmaids got ready with a bottle or two of pink bubbly in romantic Room One with its picturesque bay window and yellow décor, which matched her wedding theme of yellow, cream and green.
Anna's blonde hair, fair skin and brown/green eyes meant that warm tone colours suited her best. Her preferred bridal look was natural and beautiful with subtly defined eyes in neutral tones including shimmer beige, a soft shimmer light brown midtone and a shimmer dark brown contour shadow. Finally, a pearl finish ‘dark-eyed’ bronze eye liner smoked out with shimmer dark brown shadow complemented her hazel eyes perfectly.
I kept the rest of the bridal makeup matte and natural looking by applying a neutral light medium base, soft apricot blush and a light warm pink/peach lipstick.
Ema Gordon at The White Room did a great job, styling Anna and her bridesmaids’ hair with panache and flair!
